As a work colleague pointed out, a daily blog should updated, well, daily. So to make up for lost days I'm posting twice in one.

The new gloves made a difference, but it wasn't raining and not quite as cold as it has been.
It was a pleasant ride this evening, and despite having a cold and blocked nose, not too taxing. I enjoyed being alone with my thoughts, which is quite a luxury with two young children and their demands.
Amongst other things, and not surprisingly, I wondered if I was capable of the record. I know at the moment I'm not, but I will I be?
It's not a question anyone can answer, but it puts the idea of a powertap wheel back into my head. at least being able to measure my power will give me some perspective.
The downside being it will mean I can't buy a Zipp 808 front wheel for the attempt itself. Decisions, decisions.
